Holy Guacamole!  It's National Guacamole Day!  We give homage to what was once known as "Alligator Pears".  Here's a few more trivia tidbits about "Guac"...nearly a third of Americans eat at least one serving of Guacamole daily...the treat comes from Avocados...the word avocado is a rough translation of the Aztec word for 'testicle'-because they usually grow in pairs.  Today is also National Step Family Day...about a third of children in the US live in a blended family or have step-parents.  In today's edition...Russell Dickerson tops this week's radio charts...Garth adds another concert date to his Milwaukee SummerFest appearance...and wife Tricia has a new Christmas album coming out in November.  Happy 75thBirthday to David Bellamy, from the Bellamy Brothers!
